1 killed, 5 wounded in North Cotabato explosion

KIDAPAWAN CITY –— A bomb exploded at about 12:30 noon of January 27, 2021 along the North Cotabato-Maguindanao National Highway particularly in Barangay Sibsib, Tulunan Town, North Cotabato.

The Tulunan Police in a report stated that the explosion happened inside the abandoned ticket both of the Yellow Bus Company, just when the passerngs were about to disembark.

The Police report added “The said bus was hit at the right side portion”

The fatality was identified as Gina Paunon,53, a resident of Barangay F. Cajelo, in said town.

The wounded victims were identified Ryan Panibayo,28 , Rodel Secur-24, Kent Lloyd Sendero-19, Eduard Odango and Retchie Pedroso, 32 years old.

In a Facebook Post, former North Cotabato Board Member Sol Piñol stated “A bomb just exploded inside a Yellow Bus 20 meters away from us here at Sibsib, Tulunan.”
