DAVAO CITY – In a devastating incident, 19-year-old Kristine Faith Seno, a second-year college student at Holy Cross College of Calinan, succumbed to her injuries at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) around 10:00 AM on November 16.

Seno fell into a comatose state after sustaining a head injury in a vehicular collision along the Davao-Bukidnon Highway, specifically at kilometer 20 in Barangay Los, Amigos, Tugbok District, Davao City, on the morning of November 6.

The victim, a resident of Purok 3A in Los Amigos, was reportedly crossing the national highway at a pedestrian lane when she was struck by a Suzuki dropside pick-up driven by Joel Gamas Confessor, a 40-year-old fish vendor.

Confessor, who was briefly detained, has since been released from custody.

The Seno family continues to call for justice in light of this tragic incident.
