21-year old woman gunned down in N. Cot town

PIKIT, NORTH COTABATO – A 21-year old woman was shot dead at around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, at the public terminal in Barangay Poblacion here.

Pikit chief of police Lt. Joseph Bacquisa Letigio identified the victim as Baimojera Salilaguia Sulaiman, 21, single and a resident of Barangay Talitay, also of Pikit town.

Letigio said initial police investigation revealed that the victim was sitting beside the terminal when an unidentified gunman shot her with a handgun hitting her on the different parts of her body.

The victim was rushed to nearby Cruzado  Medical  Hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.

Police recovered three pieces of fired cartridges of caliber .45 pistol from the scene of the crime.

Sulaiman was a fresh Education graduate from the Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST) – Pikit Campus in Barangay Batulawan.

Asked on the possible motive of the killing incident, Letigio said investigation is still underway. – Newsline.ph
