DAVAO CITY — Despite restrictions set by the Department of Health to avoid mass gatherings to prevent coronavirus-19 infection, a Barangay Captain held a mass wedding and even allowed the newlywed couple to seal their union with a kiss, this time with face mask.

In celebrating its 66th founding anniversary on Monday, September 7, Makalala Poblacion Barangay Captain Eric Quibod sponsored a mass wedding for 28 couples including a pair with ages 63 and 56.

Quibod said most of the couples have been living together for over five years. Newsline.ph
