44 ka OFW miabot sa Cebu

CEBU CITY – Dugang 44 ka mga Cebuano nga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) miabot sa Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) niadtong Martes, Mayo 12, sakay sa Philippine Airlines nga “sweeper flight.”

Ang mga OFW, nga gipaubos sa 14 ka adlaw nga kwarentina didtto sa Manila, gikuhaan og “swabs” ug silang tanan nag-negatibo sa coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Gi-proseso dayon sa Overseas Workers Welfare Administration sa Central Visayas (OWWA-7) ang ilang mga dokumento sa ilang pag-abot sa tugpahanan.

Sa 44 nga miabot, 15 niini mga taga Cebu City, pito taga Lapu-Lapu City, upat taga lungsod sa Consolacion, tulo taga Talisay City, duha taga Mandaue City ug duha taga lungsod sa Liloan, Cebu. Ang ubang OFW mga taga lungsod sa San Remegio, Dalaguete, San Fernando, Tabogon, Sibonga, Minglanilla, Malabuyoc, Tabuelan, Bogo, ug Argao.

Silang tanan gipangayoan og certificate nga magpamatuod nga sila nakatuman sa 14 ka adlaw nga kwarentina didto sa Manila, negatibong resulta sa Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, “fit to travel certification” gikan sa Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), ug uban pang dokumento.

Ang mga taga Department of Health, Department of Interior and Local Government, ug ubang ahensiya nga miyembro sa Inter-Agency Task Group on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases-Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (IATG-MEID-RDRRMC) sa Central Visayas didto usab sa pag-abot sa mga OFW sa MCIA aron pagseguro nga gipatuman ang tanang mga protocol.

Ang mga nakauli nga OFW kasamtangang gipapuyo sa OWWA-7 sa usa ka hotel sa Cebu City, samtang sila nagpaabot nga kuhaon ug ihatod sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga lokal nga kagamhanan (LGU).

Matud pa ni OWWA-7 administrative assistant Eda Enclonar, ang mga OFW ipaubos usab sa mga health protocol sa ilang mga tagsa-tagsa ka LGU.

Ang mga nangabot nga OFW naabtan sa pag-implementar sa enhanced community quarantice (ECQ) ug natanggong og kapin duha ka bulan sa Manila.

Ang OWWA-7 mitabang usab sa pagpauli sa 210 ka mga OFW nga na-stranded diri Cebu. (LBG)
