5 ka miyembro sa Maute patay sa engkuentro sa Lanao del Norte

DAKBAYAN SA DAVAO — Lima ka miyembro sa mga militanteng Daulah Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG) ang namatay niadtong Lunes, Abril 29,  sa sunodsunod nga engkwentro tali sa militar sa lungsod sa Munai, Lanao del Note .

Samtang tulo ka sundalo sa 103rd Infranrty Briagde ang samaran sa dihang nahitabo ang unang engluentro sa Barangay Cadayonan sa nahisgutang munisipyo.

Sumala ni Major General Gabriel Viray, ang commanding general sa 1st Infantry Division, nagsugod ang engkuentro  bandang alas 3:45 sa kaadlawon nga milungtaad og 45-minutos.

Apan, human sa tulo ka oras, laing engkuentro na usab ang nahitabo nga milungtad sa 10 minutos.

Ang sunodsunod nga engkuentro miresulta sa kamatayon sa lima ka mga militanteng miembro sa Maute nga gipanguluhan ni  Nasser Daud,  alias Mahate.

Sumala ni Viray misulay pa og atras ang grupo ni Daud, apan, gigukod kini sa mga sundalo ug didto na naabtan sa barangay Maganding, ug didto nahitabo ang ikaduhang engkuentro.

Ang engkuentro miresulta sa kamatayon ni Daud ug sa iyang upat pa ka kauban.

Sumala sa militar si Daud usa sa mga utok sa nahitabong pagpamomba didto sa MSU Gymnasium  niadtong milabayng Disyembre 2023.

Nasakmit sa mga sundalo ang mga de kalibreng armas sama sa Ma16, M14; ug mga granda ug mga  personal nga gamit sa mga namatay nga miembro sa Daula Islamiya.

Samtang ang mga sundalong samaran anaa na sa luwas nga kahimtang.
