64 Couples United in Mass Wedding in Cagayan de Oro City

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – In a joyous event held at the Bongbongon Elementary School Covered Court on Saturday, July 15, Mayor Rolando Klarex Uy of Cagayan de Oro City solemnized the union of 64 couples from Barangay Kauswagan in a mass wedding ceremony.

The couples, who participated in the event, were provided with complimentary lechon, cake, and wine courtesy of the mayor. Additionally, each couple received five kilograms of rice from local government councilors.

The newlyweds expressed their gratitude for benefiting from the Kasalan ng Bayan (Mass Wedding) program, one of the initiatives of the local government.

Many of the couples had been saving up for their wedding for a long time, and their dreams were finally realized with the support of the mayor.

The mayor congratulated the newlyweds and wished them a lifetime of happiness and love.
