Voters should choose candidates with 3M’s

DAVAO CITY (May 14) — Voters in the country should choose barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan leaders who have values  of 3M’s   “Matalino, Mahusay and Maasahan.”

The barangay and SK elections are  very important,  all policies and development agenda of the government are implemented in the barangay.

Wilhelm Suyco, assistant regional director of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) here,  urged voters to choose only the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials who have the values of 3M’s  during the simultaneous holding of the elections today.

Electing the best barangay officials with the 3M qualities will help push for a clean, honest, and excellently- governed barangays.

“They should have core values of matino, mahusay, maasahan,” said Suyco.

The officials should exhibit the traits of not corrupt, officials who will fight against corruption and illegal drugs.

Suyco said there are 3,775,533 voters who are expected to vote in the barangay and SK polls. Out of the total number, 974,919 will be voting for the SK while 2,800,614 for the barangay.
