CARMEN, North Cotabato (February 17) – The uneven road surface in Barangay Tacupan, Carmen North Cotabato, spoiled the delivery of Marawi bound relief goods, as the Mitsubishi winged van slipped the highway Thursday at about 11:30 in the evening

The Mitsubishi winged van truck driven by Farlan Faricante, 33 years old, said his vehicle was loaded with more or less 4,000 boxes of commodities from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Field Office – 12 in Koronadal City, South Cotabato when the accident happened.

Carmen Police Station traffic investigator PO3 Dindo Paredes Celarta,   said Faricante told him that he did not notice the uneven road surface, and when he applied brake the vehicle turned side down at the center of the four-lane due to the heavy load it as carrying.,

Celarta said the truck, with Plate Number 130110 and owned by Jannet Pabonita of Valencia City, was loaded with more or less 4,000 boxes of commodities from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Field Office – 12 in Koronadal City, South Cotabato that were supposed to be distributed to the displaced families in Marawi City.-Taher G.
