Fishermen found 40 cocaine bricks floating off Surigao del Norte shores

DAVAO CITY (April 9) –— Forty bricks of suspected cocaine were found floating about two kilometers away from the shoreline of Burgos Town, Surigao del Norte, last Sunday April 7.

The cocaine bricks weighing 48.575 kilos has an estimated value of P257.4 million.

Fishermen Alvin Dumanjog, Abundio Dumanjog and Rodulfo Romero told police authorities, they noticed a floating cargo and when came nearer it turned out to be bricks, they immediately reported to the police.

The bricks bore the label “3B Bugatti,” similar to cocaine bricks earlier found in Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and in Caraga, Davao Oriental.-NewsLine.ph
