Peace advocate is new TESDA-BARMM

COTABATO CITY — A lobbyist  for the passage of the organic law for the Bangsamoro region has been named as head of Tesda- BARMM.

Minister Mohagher Iqbal of the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE-BARMM) announced Director Ruby Andong’s appointment as head of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) – BARMM. 

Outgoing Tesda-BARRM Director Omar Dalagan was moved to Tesda-Zamboanga. 

Andong said her priority as head of Teada is to promote moral and values formation among trainees and clients. 

She vowed to cleanse the regional office of corruption and irregularities, if any, and promote transparency, accountability, and moral governance. 

She also pledged to continue the TESDA programs that were implemented by her predecessor. (PNA)
