KIDAPAWAN — The Tourism office advised all participants who will be joining the “Fruits Eat All You Can” to come two hours early to avoid delays.

Timpupo Festival started August 14 and will end on August 18, 2019.

For P50.00, you can eat all the durian, lanzones, mangosteen and rambutan that you can. No limit.

Fruits Eat All You Can is one of the activities of the monthlong celebration of Timpupo Festival.

Kidapawan City is the capital of North Cotabato. It produces the finest mangosteens, durian and lanzones.

Timpupo is a generic term for “harvest”. The festival was first celebrated in 2005 when the local fruit industry suffered scarcity due to diseases and harsh weather conditions back in 2006.

The festival starts off with a Fruit Float Parade, one of the most anticipated parts of the celebration.
