The City government of Kidapawan and the municipalities of Makilala and Tulunan have ordered work and class suspension following the series of jolts.
The 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which happened this morning , may have caused structural and electrical damage to buildings and houses.
Duterte also instructed all school owners, teachers, and other school personnel to subject school structures to a safety inspection with a qualified engineer immediately.
