BOC releases to DOH test kits, ventilators from Singapore

The Bureau of Customs – Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA) has expedited the release of shipments containing medical supplies– 6 ventilators and 40,000 test kits to the Department of Health (DOH).

The two ventilators and test kits were donated by Temasek Foundation from Singapore and were turned over today to the Department of Health.

Chief of Presidential Protocol and Presidential Assistant on Foreign Affairs Robert EA Borje and Singaporean Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho Wei Hong were present during simple turnover ceremonies.

Undersecretary Borje also received, on behalf of the Philippine government, four ventilators flown in from Singapore by Filinvest Foundation.

The Bureau of Customs vows to expeditiously attend to all PPE shipments to help the country against COVID-19.
