PSC susihon ang pangisip sa mga atleta

ANG PHILIPPINE Sports Commission – Philippine Sports Institute (PSC-PSI) niawhag sa mga national sports association (NSA) nga mosalmot sa usa ka ehersisyo nga mosusi sa kahimtang sa pangisip sa mga national ug professional athlete samtang ang nasud nag-atubang sa Covid-19 krisis.

Ang ehersisyo, matud pa sa usa ka memorandum nga gipadala ngadto sa mga NSA, susama sa usa ka online nga survey aron pagtino sa pisikal ug mental nga kahimtang sa mga atleta, labi na kadtong mga naapektuhan sa enhanced community quarantine.

Sumala pa sa memo nga gipadala niadtong Martes, Abril 14, ang pag-apil sa maong ehersisyo, hinuon, dili pugsanay.

Ang pagsalmot sa mga atleta sa maong survey boluntaryo ug ang ilang mga tubag pagahiposon kini sa tago.

Ang tumong sa maong ehersisyo mao ang pagkuha og impormasyon mahitungod sa mga kasinatian ug kahimtang panglawas sa mga atleta.

“The research team would like to gather information on elite athletes’ physical activity and well-being during this pandemic,” nag-ingon ang memo. “Their participation in the survey is completely voluntary and all of the responses will be kept confidential.”

Ang PSC-PSI nanghinaut nga mosalmot ang mga atleta sa maong survey aron ilang masabtan ang mga kahimtang niini ug kung unsang klase nga suporta ang ilang mga gikinahanglan.

Ang ehersisyo ipahigayon sa PSC-PSI ug inabagan sa Special Interest Group-Sport and Exercise Psychology sa Psychological Association of the Philippines.

Ang PSC wala magkulang sa paghatag og suporta sa mga national athlete ug coach sukad sa pagsugod sa kwarentina ug padayon kining nagpadala sa ilang mga binulang allowance.

Ang PSC usab nagpahimangno sa mga miyembro sa mga nagkadaiyang national team nga magpuyo sulod sa ilang panimalay ug likayan usab ang outdoor training. (LBG)
