IGaCoS registered confirmed Covid-19 case anew

Davao City — Island Garden City of Samal has registered its new confirmed case of COVID 19 today, June 20, 2020.

A 4-year-old male child from Barangay San Jose who had been stranded together with his family in Bohol since March 11, this year.

The family has arrived IGACOS last June 10 from Cagayan de Oro City on board a hired van and was immediately placed in a quarantine facility in Babak. Swab test was done last June 17 and just this morning, the result came out indicating positive RT-PCR of the above-identified child.

The swab test of other members of the family yielded negative results. At the moment, the patient is asymptomatic and will be transferred to another Isolation Facility where he will be closely monitored. Re-Post from CHO-IGACOS.
