Miss World 2020 canceled due to Covid-19

DAVAO CITY — The organizers of this year’s Miss World 2020 has decided to cancel the event due to the threat of coronavirus-19 pandemic.

In a Facebook post, the Miss World organizers announced, “The 70th Miss World Final will be held in the latter part of 2021 Host Country/Venue will be confirmed very soon”.

The announcement has been made by Julia Morley Chairman and CEO of Miss World to all National Licence Holders.

The announcement states, “We have made the decision to delay the 70th Miss World Final. Safety is paramount as we continue the fight against COVID-19. We look forward to welcoming the Miss World family to our very special celebrations next year”.

The other international beauty pageant like Miss International 2020 has also been cancelled.-Newsline.ph
