12 Covid19 recoveries, 1 death among overseas Filipinos

DAVAO CITY — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in a statement on Monday reported one new fatality and 12 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) among Filipinos in Asia and the Pacific.

The DFA stated that the numbers bring the death toll to 847 and the total number of recoveries to 7,577.

The DFA also tallied 18 new cases of Covid-19 among overseas Filipinos, pushing the total number of infections to 11,692.

Meanwhile, about 3,268 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.

“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continue to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amidst the pandemic,” the DFA statement read.
