For trying to save a cigarette, call Center agent fell from 3-storey building

DAVAO CITY — For trying to save a stick of a falling cigarette a call center agent trainedd feel from the 3rd flood of their office which caused his instantenous death on Tuesday morning May 25, 2021.

Davao City Police Office spokesperson Capt. Rose Aguilar in an interview with newsline,ph said they received the report from Talomo police about the death of call center agent Kevin Gallanera who fell from the 3rd flood of the Anda Corporate Building in Barangay 39-C,this city.

Aguilar said Gallanera, a call center agent trainee of Konektors Technologist Incorporated, and a resident of Brgy 39-D,  Trading Boulevard, Davao City. accidentally fell from the 3rd floor building resulted to his instantaneous death, today May 25, 2021 at 12:25 AM.

According to the witness, while having their break time they went outside to their office particularly at Veranda located at the 3rd floor of Anda Corporate Building to have smoke  and while at the said place the cigarette of the subject person  fell and move to opposite side of veranda. 

The  victim tried to catch the cigarette and step at the cemented flat form outside the veranda victim accidentally slip and fell straight to the ground floor.

The witness shouted for help, right after their co employee helped the victim and call 911 for medical intervention and brought the victim to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) and was attended by Dr. Shanine Dale Bandong, but due to his head injury victim expired at around 1:50 AM of the same date.
