Military nurse who perished in ill-fated C-130 arrived like a princess in Davao City

DAVAO CITY — Fresh flowers was all around the coffin of late 1Lt. Sheen Alexandrea Tato, the military nurse who was among those who pereished in the July 4, Loockheed C-130 Hercules Aircraft which crashed in Barangay Bangkal, Patikul town in Sulu province.

Tato’s father, who is a retired soldier was with her all the way to their house while her mother made sure that her coffin will be elegantly displayed to show their love to their princess.

The father said, his daughter was a very well-mannered, disciplined and dedicated solider.

Tato’s cadaver arrived on Friday at Davao Air Station, from Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, via the C-295 aircraft of the PAF accompanied by her family.

Full military honor was conducted to the military nurse during its arrival at Old ramp of the former Davao International Airport.

She was commissioned as an Officer on December 01, 2015 with flying colors and was one of the top students in her class.

The Tato family prepared a very special place for their daughter in the house.

Her family asked florist to prepare a very nice set-up for her coffin and a nice tribute t-shirt.

During Pres. Duterte’s visit to the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NavForWes) headquarters in Zamboanga City on Monday, Duterte bestowed the Order of Lapu-Lapu with a rank of “Kalasag” to six military officers who died in the plane crash, including Makalintal.
