BTA constructs multipurpose buildings, covered court in Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao

COTABATO CITY – The Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) has started constructing a multipurpose building, a learning center, children’s playground, and covered court in Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao.

The projects are implemented through the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) and funded under the Transitional Development Fund (TDIF) of Parliament members Nabila Margarita Pangandaman and Mudjib Abu.

Pangandaman led the groundbreaking ceremonies for the multipurpose facility, learning center, and children’s outdoor playground in Masiu, Lanao del Sur, while Abu led another groundbreaking ceremony of the covered court in Parang, Maguindanao.

In Masiu, Lanao del Sur, barangays Apa Mimbalay, Langco Dimapatoy, and Pangandaman Pantao were among the localities to get more than P3 million worth of infrastructure projects.

Pangandaman also supported the construction of a barangay road—a farm-to-market road—in Brgy. Langco Dimapatoy Masiu, LDS.

Meanwhile, in Maguindanao, Abu said that the covered court would also serve the Southern Philippines Academy, Inc. in Parang Extension, Maguindanao.

Said groundbreaking activities and construction of infrastructures were attended by the Ministry of Interior Local Government (MILG) and representative recipients of the mentioned municipalities.
