Surigao fisherman catches Blue Marline

DAVAO CITY — Fisherfolks of Surigao del Norte het the surprise of their lives when Eduard Lupay showed up at the shoreline with 407 kilos of Blue Martine.

The huge fish was caught by his fishing net while sailing in the island of Isla Gen. Luna, in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte on October 5, 2021.

Lupay’s group was happy as they bought the fish to the public market which means big money for them.

The family of Marline of can be found in all warm oceans.
