PNP XI’s first ambulatory clinic operation, a success

DAVAO CITY — The medical staff of the Philippine National Police XI (PNP) marked a milestone after the successful operation of a lady police officer who suffered from breast cancer inside their ambulatory clinic on Wednesday morning, November 24.

PBrigGen. Filmore Escobal, the PNP regional director told Newsline that the operation of the 46-year old PNP member was performed by the medical staff of the camp who are accredited by the Department of Health.

Escobal said, the PNP XI has now the capacity to respond to the medical and surgical needs of their members while the state-of-the-art PNP hospital in Camp Sgt Quintin Mericido is still under construction.

The PNP, Escobal said is grateful that President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go helped them in realizing their dream hospital.
