DAVAO CITY — The city government of Davao is asking all unvaccinated and those who did not get their second vaccine dose to go to the vaccination sites during the three-day nationwide “Bayanihan Bakunahan” from November 29 to December 1, 2021.

In a press statement, the city government advised its residents to go to the vaccination sites, including the Sangguniang Panlungsod Office of the Vice Mayor mobile teams, which are open for walk-ins from 8 A.M to 3 P.M.

Those who got their first dose must bring their DQR, valid ID, pen, and those getting the second dose should bring their vaccination card.

Parents of eligible minors for pediatric vaccination are advised to bring their birth or baptismal certificates, valid ID, Barangay Certificate or Special Power of Attorney of guardianship if accompanied by guardians, and medical clearance from a pediatrician if with comorbidities.

Davao City Covid-19 Vaccination Cluster Head Dr. Josephine Villafuerte said all public vaccination sites will be open on the National Vaccination Days, including the sites organized by the private sector.

The three-day vaccination program will be in partnership with the private sector namely: the Aboitiz group of companies, Davao Association of Colleges and Universities Network, Inc. (DACUN), and the Davao Association of Catholic Schools Inc. (DACs ), and the Department of Education (DepEd), among others.

The City Council members will also establish a mobile vaccination on those days.

Villafuerte said that they already met with the private sector, the district health officers, private hospitals, and with the members of Indigenous People.

The city government hopes that through the three-day Bayanihan Bakunahan the city will be able to achieve the target number of population protection or herd immunity of more than 1.2 million.
