Imbestigasyon sa PAL crew nga nagdala og sibuyas bombay gikasuko sa mga senador

DAKBAYAN SA DAVAO-— Nasuko silang Senador JV Ejercito ug Raffy Tulfo ang pagpasaka og kaso sa Bureau of Customs batok sa mga crew sa Philippine Airlines (PAL) nga nagpasalubong og sibuyas bombay sa ilang pagpauli gikan sa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia niadtong milabayng semana.

Atol sa Committee hearing sa Committee on Agriculture sa senado, giyawyawan sa mga senador ang taga Bureau of Customs kay matud nila, dili na kinahanglan daginuton sa maong ahensya ang pagdala og Bombay kay pipila lang kini ka kilo og igop lang kunsumo sa ilang pamilya.

Sumala sa mga senador gidaginot sa taga Custom ang mga crew sa PAL nga unta daghan man og mga dagkung sindikato nga angayan nilang tutukan.

Saysay ni senador Ejercito “‘Yung PAL crew, nagdadala ‘yan ng pasalubong for personal consumption. Dati, mansanas, ubas, pabango, sapatos. Ngayon, sibuyas na ang kanilang pinapasalubong sa kanilang mga pamilya. So, this is already a cause of alert,”

Matud ni Tulfo ““Dapat priority ’nyo ‘yung mga big-time [smugglers]. Bakit hindi ‘nyo paghuhulihin? Siguro nasa opisina ‘nyo palagi. This is unacceptable.”

Matud sa mga crew sa PAL, nagdala sila og sibuyas bombay isip pasalubong sa ilang pamilya tungod kay mahal na kayo ang presyo sa sibuyas sa Pilipinas samtang sa Riyadh barato ra kayo.

Sa Riyadh tag P90 lang ang kilo sa sibuyas Bombay samtang sa Pilipinas tag P400 hangtud P450 depende sa kalidad sa bombay.

Halos tanang crew sa PAL nagdala og sibuyas sa ilang pagpauli sa biahe gikan sa RIaydh og mobalor lang kining tanan og hapit P5,000.

Sa usa ka eroplano dunay hapit 15 ka crew members ang sakay sa eroplano.
