Zambo anti-narcotics nabs pusher in drug buy-bust

ZAMBOANGA CITY —-Personnel of the Zamboanga City Police Station 7 arrested suspected drug pusher Omar Dueñas Edris, 38 years old, in a drug buy-bust operation along Talungon St., Barangay San Roque on Wednesday, March 8.

Seized from Edris was suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride inside two packets weighing 5.56 grams with a street value of P37,808.00.

Two marked 100-peso bills and the suspect’s Suzuki Raider motorcycle were recovered by the police.

The police led by PMSgt. Marlon Demaisip took the pieces of evidence to the Zamboanga City Forensic Unit 9 for examination.

Edris was detained at the Zamboanga City Police Station 7 for the formal filing of case against him in court for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
