AGUSAN DEL NORTE – The Agusan del Norte Provincial Government conducted a successful medical-dental outreach program in Barangay Poblacion, Carmen on July 6. This initiative was held in celebration of the 74th Araw ng Carmen. The event provided free medical services to over two thousand individuals, including dental check-ups, consultations, and COVID-19 vaccinations.

In addition to the essential healthcare services, eyeglasses, medicine, wheelchairs, crutches, and blood donations were also made available to those in need. The outreach program aimed to improve the overall well-being of the residents and enhance access to healthcare services in the community.

The event received strong support from the provincial government, led by Governor Maria Angelica Rosedell Amante, and the local government unit (LGU) of Carmen, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Ramon Calo. Various government officials, including representatives from the 23rd Infantry Battalion, members of the Municipal Sangguniang Bayan, Red Cross volunteers, and employees from the Capitol and LGU-Carmen actively participated in the program.
