Grenade explodes outside Cotabato City Terminal

 DAVAO CITY — A grenade exploded at the main entrance of Cotabto City terminal at around 5:00 in the morning today after a still unidentified suspects onboard a motorbike tossed it, a barker was hurt.

The grenade’s sharpnel also damaged a parked passenger van nearby,

The grenade was thrown at the gate of Husky Bus terminal along national highway, Esteros district, Cotabato City.

Witnesses said they heard a speeding motorbike away from the bus terminal followed by a loud explosion.

No one has claimed responsibility but investigators believed the grenade attack was not meant to hurt but to threaten the bus firm that had been receiving extortion demands from lawless elements.

The explosion caused delays some upcoming trips to give way to the bombs experts investigation.

This morning’s explosion is the third to hit the bus company this year.
