Smuggler Gisilutan sa korte

DAKBAYAN SA DAVAO-— Gikonbikto sa Metropolitan Trial Court – National Judicial Capital Region Branch 24 ang usa ka importer sa produktong agrikultura kay iyang gilapas ang balaud og dili mao ang iyang gideklara base sa iyang import permit.

Ang kaso gipasaka sa korte  batok  sa negosyanteng si Divina Bisco Aguilar, tag-iya sa Real Mart.

Nag-ugat ang kaso batok sa Real Mart human nadiskobrehan sa Bureau of Customs niadtong Hunyo 26, tuig 2020 nga ang 2,500 ka cartoon nga  frozen pastry buns kon nga pagkaon nga murag pan o tinapay nga iyang gideklara puros diay carrots gikan sa nasud nga Singapore.

Nadiskorehan nga sayop ang iyang mideklara sa dihang gi-abrohan ang mga cartoon sa dihang mi-abot kini sa pantalan sa sa Manila.

Niadtong Septiembre 10, 2020, gipasakahan sa Bureau of Customs og kaso  si Divina Aguilar o ang Real Mart kay namakak kini sa iyang deklarasyon sa iyang imported nga produkto.

Human sa tulo ka tuig, mipagawas og desisyon ang Metropolitan Trial Court kon National Judicial Capital Region Branch 24 sa iyang desisyon. Gikonbikto si Aguilar sa kasong paglapas sa Section 1401 hangtud 1400 sa Repulic Act 10863 kon Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.

Niadtong Septiembre 26 gi-amiendahan sa Kongreso ang Anti-Agricultural Smuggling law ug maghatag na kini og bug-at nga silut sa mga smugglers.

Ang pag-amienda sa House Bill 9284, daling giaprobahan sa 289 ka mga Kongresista  ug walay mibabag.

Kini human gimanduan ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nga paspasan ang pag-amienda niini.

Ubos sa  Anti-Agri-fishery Commodities and Tobacco Economic Sabotage Act of 2023  silutan ang mga dagkung smuggler, mga negosyante nga nagtago, nagcartel ug mga namaligya og mahal nga mga produktong agrikultura.

Silutan usab ang mga empleyado ug opisyal nga masakpan nga nakigkonsabo sa mga smuggler.

Gikonsedira ang mao aktibidad isip pagsabotahe sa katawhan.

Ubos sa nahisgutang balaud, silutan ang mga makonbikto gikan 15 ka 30 ka tuig depende sa gibug-aton sa ebidensya.
