DAVAO CITY – A group of men in Davao City found themselves in the custody of the Bajada Police Station on the night of October 29 after violating the liquor ban.

Law enforcement officers reminded the individuals that there was an ongoing liquor ban in place.

Those detained were informed of their rights.

They were later handcuffed and transported in a mobile patrol vehicle.

The liquor ban, which came into effect at midnight on Saturday, October 28, was put in place due to the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections in 2023.

The local police had previously issued a public warning to avoid breaking the laws and urged citizens to steer clear of potential consequences.
