DSWD Region X distributes cash assistances to Misamis Occidental residents

MANILA – In a gathering held at The Working Congressman Sports and Cultural Center in Tudela, Misamis Occidental, members of the indigenous peoples and 4Ps beneficiaries received cash assistance through the Enhanced Support Services Interventions Cash for Work Payout, facilitated by the Provincial Government in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Office Region 10 on Wednesday, November 15.
Beneficiaries from six municipalities in the province were part of the distribution.

• LGU Clarin: 236 Beneficiaries
• LGU Don Victoriano: 344 Beneficiaries
• LGU Jimenez: 43 Beneficiaries
• LGU Panaon: 158 Beneficiaries
• LGU Sinacaban: 22 Beneficiaries
• LGU Tudela: 341 Beneficiaries

A total of 236 beneficiaries from LGU Clarin, 344 from LGU Don Victoriano, 43 from Jimenez, 158 from Panaon, 22 beneficiaries from Sinacaban, and 341 from Tudela received the livelihood assistance.

The distribution amounts to approximately 4.5 million pesos in livelihood assistance to a total of 1,144 beneficiaries.

Each recipient received over 4,000 pesos for 11 days of work on disaster mitigation-related tasks. The Enhanced Support Services Interventions aim to provide additional support for families to meet their basic needs and assist them in overcoming their challenges, particularly in recovering from the recent calamity.
