Abella’s appointment letter, dated October 27, was made public Thursday, November 23.
The announcement of Abella’s departure from Malacañang was so quick as it was announced when lawyer Harry Roque was named the new presidential spokesperson.
Newsline.ph sources revealed Abella would get a post in the DFA and he will serve as an ambassador.
Sources said Abella was replaced due to series of inconsistencies in his pronouncement as against the official stand of the President.
Abella is the pastor of the church where Roque is a member.

Abella was previously appointed as Undersecretary at the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) but he acted as the presidential spoksperson.
