Sarangani police spearhead tree planting initiative

SARANGANI — In a commendable effort to promote environmental awareness and contribute to global reforestation, members of the Sarangani Police Provincial Office, Provincial Community Affairs Development Unit, and Malapatan Municipal Police Station joined forces for a tree planting activity on the morning of December 1.

The unified initiative, part of the One Million Trees Project, took place at Barangay Lun Masla, Malapatan, Sarangani Province, starting at 5:00 AM.

The primary objective of the event was to address environmental concerns, combat the adverse effects of climate change, and restore balance to the ecosystem by replacing lost greenery.

Law enforcement officers actively participated in planting numerous tree saplings in the local area, showcasing their commitment to environmental conservation.

The tree planting activity was captured in a video footage, demonstrating the dedication of the Sarangani Police Provincial Office, Provincial Community Affairs Development Unit, and Malapatan Municipal Police Station in contributing to the broader mission of ecological sustainability.

This collaborative effort not only exemplifies the commitment of law enforcement to public safety but also highlights their dedication to preserving and nurturing the environment for future generations.
