Families of the victims in Antipas road mishap lit candles on site

DAVAO CITY — Grieving families of the 18 van passengers who were burned to death in the Holy Monday road mishap in Barangay Luhong, Antipas town Cotabato province lit candles, flowers and offered prayers at the site on Tuesday afternoon.

The families were joined by Antipas mayor Cris Cadungon and other town employees.

The incident was the worse road disaster in town said Cadungon.

Reports have it, the driver of the Wowo dump truck lost control of his steering wheel and collided with the passenger van loaded with passengers.
