Martinez is new top cop in Davao region

DAVAO CITY — Police Brigadier General Aligre Martinez is now the acting director of the Police Regional Office 11 replacing Police Brigadier General Alden Delvo who retired on Thursday.

Martinez officially assumed his new post on April 26 in a ceremony held at PRO 11 Bagani Hall which was presided over by Police LtGen Michael John Dubria, The Deputy Chief, PNP for Operations.

The new police director said he wants to increase the presence of the police in every corner of the region through programs and projects that would make their presence felt at all times.

He also asked for the support and help of the men and women of PRO 11 in fulfilling his plans and programs during his time as the director of the PNP Davao Region.

The PRO XI posted four (4) Anti–Illegal Drugs Operations with five (5) persons arrested in the first 48 hours of Martinez as acting regional director.

Martinez served as the Deputy Director for the Administration of the Philippine National Police Regional Office 4-A (Southern Tagalog) and as Deputy Director for the Administration of the Southern (NCRPO) Police District Office.

He is graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy class of 1994, He hails from Pangasinan.
