Panabo National High bags 4 awards in International Robotic competition

DAVAO CITY — The delegation from Panabo National High School to the 12th edition of the International Robotics Competition in Oradea, Romania bagged numerous during the two-day competition.

The Panabo team represented the country to the competition held on last May 10 -11, 2024, which was participated by over 700 competitors around the world.

The competitors from Belarus, China, Colombia, Egypt, Greece, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary, showcased their brightest minds in the field of Robotics.

This year’s Philippine team through ERovoutika Electronics Robotics Automation is composed of the students and coaches from Panabo City National High School who have shown their incredible skills in the field of Robotics included Louise Carlo Solomon, Vanz Kean Sazon, Franziska Zoe Cabal, Gillian Altizo, Maam Angel Joy Portes and Maam Prescilla Derequito,

The Philippine team will bring home the following awards:

  • First Place – Humanoid Challenge
  • First Place – Freestyle All Ages
  • Third Place – Freestyle High School League
  • Third Place – Mega Sumo

The city government of Panabo proudly announced the victory of the students.
