Quiboloy’s kingdom bus crashes into wall and house in Davao City

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — A bus owned by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the church of fugitive Apollo Quiboloy, crashed into a concrete wall before ramming car and then a house in Villa Cariño, Purok 10-B, Barangay Los Amigos, Tugbok District, Davao City at 6:15 a.m. on June 1, 2024.

The Davao City Police reported that the bus was traveling along the Davao-Bukidnon Highway, heading towards Calinan Proper, when the driver, John Ayo Berrano, 63, from Kilometer 5, Buhangin, Davao City, lost control of the vehicle.

The loss of control led to multiple accidents and the eventual collision with the wall and house.

According to the police report, the driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the mishap.

The Tugbok police have temporarily taken Berrano into custody. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported as a result of the collision.
