The suspects who are residents of Baganga, Davao Oriental, were onboard an unregistered black sedan, and upon searching the vehicle, authorities found P432,000 worth of illegal drugs concealed along with an unlicensed .380 caliber pistol.

During further investigation, Joe informed the police that he had received a package from Metro Manila containing approximately P6.9 million worth of suspected illegal drugs.

At around 3:15 in the morning on July 3, Joe led the Toril police to a house in Barangay Maa, Davao City, and voluntarily surrendered the illegal drugs.
