KIDAPAWAN CITY – A 76-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in broad daylight while driving his vehicle in Midsayap, Cotabato, on Saturday morning, March 30.

The victim, identified by police as Datu Roy Dilangalen, a resident of Barangay Bual Norte, was traveling from the town center toward his home at around 7:00 a.m. when two armed men tailed him on a motorcycle. The suspects fired at him while on the road in Zone 7, Poblacion, hitting him in the head.

Dilangalen’s pick-up truck veered off and crashed into a rice field. Responding authorities rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
