P347K Worth of Suspected Shabu Seized in Davao City Buy-Bust

DAVAO CITY – Authorities seized over P347,000 worth of suspected shabu in a joint drug buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 11 (RPDEU-11) and the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Davao City Police Office in Barangay 26-C early Wednesday.

The operation occurred at around 12:40 a.m. on April 3, 2025, at 13 Pioneer Street, Barangay 26-C, Davao City.

Two suspects were arrested, identified by their aliases as “Sunshine”, 44, reportedly the Top 2 most wanted drug personality in Davao City, and “Dandan”, 30, a delivery rider. Both are residents of the area.

According to the police report, the suspects sold sachets of suspected shabu to undercover operatives during the operation. Additional sachets were recovered during the arrest, bringing the total estimated value of the confiscated illegal drugs to P347,208.

The suspects are now in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
