DAVAO CITY (July 25) — Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. has announced a series of scheduled switching power interruptions in various parts of Davao City from July 27 to 29, 2025. These interruptions are necessary to facilitate maintenance works on substations and power lines to ensure continued service reliability.

The first set of power interruptions will take place on Sunday, July 27, to allow substation work at the Tibungco Substation and line maintenance in Tibungco and Malagamot. Areas affected:

  • Buhangin: From Camella Northpoint to Orange Grove Hotel, including J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bacaca Road, and Diversion Road up to Jade Valley
  • Parts of Mabini Street to Circumferential Road, including Magallanes Street, Bacaca Road, Central Bank, Davao Doctors Hospital, Limso Hospital, Brokenshire Hospital, and DMSF
