DAVAO CITY (August 15) — The 30th Mindanao Trade Expo Kadayawan opened Tuesday at Abreeza Mall, showcasing products from over 150 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Mindanao. Exhibits feature food and cacao goods, durian products, beauty and wellness items, arts and crafts, fashion accessories, textiles, home décor, furniture, and more.

Councilor Myrna Dalodo Ortiz, chair of the City Council’s Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Industry, said the event highlights the creativity and craftsmanship of Mindanao and Davao’s entrepreneurs. She also delivered the message of Acting Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, who commended the Mindanao Trade Expo Foundation and partners for supporting livelihoods and recognized MSMEs as key drivers of the city’s economy.

The mayor encouraged participants to gain insights, expand networks, and promote local craftsmanship to wider markets while embracing sustainable business practices.

The expo runs until August 16, 2025.
