The authorities raided the Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch Natural Medical Center in Victoria, Tarlac on Friday and closed its pharmacy for allegedly selling food supplements without authorization.

The case was initiated from the complaints filed by medical societies before the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

These kinds of occurrences are the typical examples of the evils of the presidential form of government that we have now. Everything is controlled by the few oligarchs, wealthy and influential groups including the medical societies who can dictate and control the FDA being part of the paradigm of the Imperial Manila government where all Departments and its instrumentalities are all situated in Manila.

This is your life now, this is us, this is our country, and it’s real. Everything I care about I’m worried about the fact that money has taken over our system.

Look what did the FDA do? This is how it operates; ruthlessly bloodied the victim in a frenzy of animal lust that deprived Dr. Farrah with her rights as the raiding team swoop down like the swamp creatures of the wild in lightning striking like vultures that gorge on the weak callous to the pain and misery of their innocent victims and Dr. Farrah was helplessly shaken and freezing with fear.

This incident does not augur well for the rule of law in this country and since it was beamed more to the poor, we the people on the ground must not blink away.

Resultantly, due to the raid the incantations of “people’s voice,” “people’s sovereign will,” or “let the people decide,” to the Alternative Medicine that cures them has been broken.

The Freedom of Choice is the fundamental covenant that provides enduring stability to our society ― but now became a taboo, a sign this country has now gone to the dogs. Everything depends on the whims and caprices of the few running the cartel to keep the prices high on everything.

Clearly, We see in Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch’s appeal to the public on Facebook such tenacity and sincerity and persistence of one who has been grievously wronged. And let it not be overlooked, her demonstrated tenacity and sheer determination to recover her opportunity to serve and cure the poor. Despite several legal setbacks, such appeal speaks more loudly, in spirit. Such memento and special sentimental value to the poor people she wants to serve, which must be quintessential, as well as the nobility of purpose, must not be rendered futile and in vain.

Mortals of lesser mettle would have given up. Her relentless vigor and persistence to get back and cure the poor warrants more than just the proverbial second look by PRRD.
