Acting Mayor Baste Duterte inspects Buda Patrol Base, vows support for security forces

DAVAO CITY (August 12) – Davao City Acting Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte conducted an inspection of the Buda Patrol Base in Barangay Buda, Marilog District, on August 7 to assess the facility’s condition and the welfare of the troops stationed there.

During the visit, Acting Mayor Duterte checked the camp’s electricity and water supply, reviewed the living conditions of personnel, and discussed plans for infrastructure upgrades to enhance both operations and accommodations.

The inspection is part of the city government’s continuing efforts to strengthen its Culture of Security and ensure that law enforcement units, particularly those in remote areas, have the resources they need to effectively maintain peace and order.

Acting Mayor Duterte reaffirmed the city’s commitment to fully supporting its security forces, noting that their presence is vital to safeguarding communities and deterring criminal activity in far-flung areas.
