MANILA (March 7) – The northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan,” will continue to bring rains over parts of Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Saturday, PAGASA said Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the amihan. Apayao and mainland Cagayan may also see cloudy skies with light rains.

Meanwhile, Ilocos Region, the Cordillera region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
