APRI MakBan recognizes stakeholders in appreciation event

September 24, 2022 by SPONSORED CONTENT

DAVAO CITY — To recognize its stakeholders’ crucial role in community-building, AboitizPower subsidiary AP Renewables, Inc – Makiling Banahaw (APRI-Makban) recently held an online appreciation event for various public officials from across its host localities.

Bannering the theme “It’s More Fun in APRI,” the event gathered 75 government partners who have played a huge part in helping create a better world for the company’s host communities.

“Hopefully, our stakeholders will continue to let APRI in, as your neighbors and as part of your communities. Through this continued partnership, APRI will be able to provide reliable, reasonable, and responsible energy and at the same time support the advancement of its host communities — in the form of local taxes, ER 1-94 incentives, and CSR projects,” APRI President and Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Estrella said.

The festive event kicked off with engaging activities such as games and a raffle draw wherein participants won gift certificates and various home appliances.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa APRI at meron silang mga ganitong klaseng event kung saan nakakapag-enjoy ang mga stakeholders. Hopefully, next time, face-to-face na para mas masaya,” said Calauan, Laguna Vice Mayor Allan Jun Sanchez.

(We are thankful to APRI because they have an event such as this where the stakeholders can be engaged. Hopefully next time, it will be face to face so it will be more fun.)

Given the limitations to hold face-to-face activities, the event showcased the importance of staying grounded and connected with partners whose valuable support ensures camaraderie in co-creating resilient and empowered communities.

“There is truly no pandemic that can stop us from having fun and more importantly disrupt the way we build, enhance and protect our relationships with our stakeholders,” said APRI Vice President for Corporate Services Leonardo L. Robel, Jr. in his closing remarks.

Since 2019, APRI has been conducting stakeholder appreciation events to recognize partnerships that have been established and strengthened throughout the years.

On September 30, APRI-Tiwi Geothermal is set to conduct its face-to-face Stakeholders’ Appreciation Event.
