Armed men robs priest in Basilan

ISABELA CITY, BASILAN (August 30) — Armed men robbed  a priest in Isabela City, Basilan, Wednesday night, August 28.

The victim was identified as Fr. Euclid Balosbalos, vicar of  Sta. Isabel Cathedral Church here.

Balosbalos reported to the Isabela Police that he was on his way to the church in barangay Cabunbata aboard his single motorcycle when armed suspects riding on  a motorbike waylaid him and hit him with a hard wood and took his sling bag.

The report said  Balosbalos sling bag contained his mobile phone and his wallet.
