DAVAO CITY (October 1) — An improvised explosive device (IED) was discovered inside a public Utility Jeepney in Midsayap, Cotabato, early this morning.
Reports said Personnel 90th Infantry Battalion recovered the IED at 7 a.m. inside a jeepney at a checkpoint in Barangay Polomogin.
The bomb was inside a bag left in the jeep with the license plate MWA 995.
Investigators theorized that the ED was meant to explode in a compound in Cotabato City or a supermarket on the same city.
Authorities has yet to identify the suspects.-NewsLine.ph
