DAVAO CITY — An angered wife shot her estranged husband over property issue at around 8:00 Sunday night in Purok 1, Barangay Guiling, Alamada, North Cotabato,

Alamada town police chief Major Bernard Abarquez identified the wounded soldier as Sgt. John Harvey Utanes Oandasan, 36-years-old assigned to the 6th Field Artillery Battalion of the army in the 6th Infantry Division in Awang, Maguindanao del Norte.

The police immediately arrested the wife identified as Edna Miranda Oandasan.

Police investigators recovered from the wife the 9mm pistol owned by her soldier husband.

In an interview, Abarquez said, the couple have already estranged relationship for a long time but met to discuss and settle property issues.

The suspect and is now at the custody of the police while charges of frustrated parricide is being prepared against Aoandasan.-PTP
