Bato emotional over survey climb, vows to campaign harder on the ground

March 20, 2019 by SPONSORED CONTENT

DAVAO CITY (March 20)— Administration senatorial candidate Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa was emotional when he shared in a campaign sortie in Tacloban City on Tuesday, that his ranking in the latest Pulse Asia survey went up.

“Mas lalo akong na motivate to work harder sa ground and campaign because I felt na mahal ninyo ako, at ito ang inspirasyon ko sa araw araw na kampanya, nakakataba ng puso ang inyong mainit na pagtanggap sa akin, sa mga bisaya, ayaw intawon ko ninyo pasagdi, mag-uban ta alang sa maayong kaugmaon sa atong nasud ug sa atong mga anak,” Bato said before the cheering crowd in the Tacloban rally.

Bato, said his candidacy is anchored on helping President Rodrigo Duterte attain a peaceful nation by pushing laws that would strengthen the family and the youth for nation building, to avoid the evils brought about by illegal drugs.

Dela Rosa who is also the former Bureau of Corrections Chief placed 7th (5th-8th statistical ranking) in the February survey of Pulse Asia with the voter preference of the 44.6 percent compared to 15th place in January with only 36.9 percent of voters choosing him.

He is thankful to the overwhelming support by the peace-loving citizens of the republic, as shown in the latest Pulse Asia survey.

The former top cop is part of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) senatorial slate with no less than President Duterte endorsing them to the voters and is also being endorsed by Hugpong ng Pagbabago, headed by Davao Mayor Sara Duterte. -PR
